The Cottage: Waterfall Cottage is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, in a valley on the banks of the Bundoragha River which flows past the terrace of the cottage down the valley and out into the Killary Fjord. It nestles between the Sheefry hills and the imposing Mweelrea mountain. A host of wildlife can be seen from this wonderful cottage. Needless to say it is a paradise for salmon and sea trout fishermen, and this property offers a whole lot more! Less than a mile down the road is Delphi Fishery and Delphi adventure centre. Leenane village is 8 miles offering hotels restaurants craft shops and basic food shops. The Pretty Georgian town of Westport is only 20 miles away and Knock airport 90 minute drive. Nearest beach 15 miles away with some of the best surfing in the country and the Scuba Diving is great in the clean clear waters of the Atlantic.

Inside: As you come in front door there is a double bedroom to your right and off this is a bunk room. There is a main bathroom with a shower over the bath. From front door and turning to the right brings you in to a big open plan spilt level kitchen/Dining / living space. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons including a large electric AGA. Down 3 steps is living space with flat screen TV, corner suite and big open fire. In the opposite side of the room is a perfect place for children to enjoy board games or forage through the numerous books. There is also a bar area for the adults. There are double doors leading onto a Patio looking out on to the river with steps down to second terrace. Through the hallway there is another twin bedroom and the main bedroom which is Super King en-suite. Down some stairs is another bathroom with large shower and off this is another king bedroom.Down some stairs will bring you to large living space which looks directly out on to the river. Room is equipped with large sofas for relaxing, a piano and flat screen T.V. This room could nearly be referred to as the river room. Double doors leading out to the delightful riverside patio area.

Cleggan 324 Janes Cottage

The Cottage: This is a little gem of a cottage set down a little boreen. The cottage sits down in a leafy enclave. It has a tranquil mature garden with dry stone walls and far reaching views towards Cleggan Bay. The beach is accessed by a charming little road which passes beside a lake over a waterfall and through little woodland this is also the route to Cleggan village which has all you need with shop, pubs, playground, angling charter boats and the ferry to Inishbofin Island which is great for a day trip.

Inside: As you drive down to the end of boreen there is large parking area. The Cottage is in a private location and you can see at once the fantastic sea views. You step down to the cottage where there is a patio area with garden furniture and chairs this is a sun trap and ideal for lounging and enjoying sunshine and taking in the scent of the herbs surrounding it.As you walk in front door of cottage there is a twin bedroom to your right, main bathroom with shower and bath and then to your left brings you in to a big open plan kitchen, dining sitting room area with wood burning stove and then you can step down in to a conservatory area with wood burning stove. Kitchen has all mod cons and is well equipped. Off this large area is a double ensuite bedroom.This cottage is ideal for couples wanting a romantic week away. The cottage: Stone Dormer cottage situated close the coral strand beach located between Keoghs pub and shop in Ballyconneely and Clifden town. Ideal for visiting a Beach every day like Dunloughan Mannin and Gurteen or Dogs Bay. Close to the cottage is Connemara sands hotel and horse riding activities.It’s a large property,perfect for two families renting and the price is very affordable. 

As you walk in through  double doors there is open plan sitting room with open fire and dining table and chairs and off this is kitchen and off that is utility room. Through kitchen and in to hallway there is small toilet and sink. Down hallway there is a bathroom (all carpet) with bath and shower and 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and a twin. Close by is Zetland Hotel then take the scenic route to Clifden, Roundstone or Ballyconneely where you could perhaps take part in all the annual celebrations like pony shows and festivals.

The cottage: A charming tiny one bedroom stone cottage overlooking Lough Muck and the surrounding mountains. There is parking for two cars on the road then some steps up to the cottage also there is parking beside the house.This property is priced competitively and is ideal for a couple who really like the outdoor life.The vast expanse of Glassillaun beach is 1.2km from the cottage over the hill and is also the base for Scuba Dive West. Within walking distance are Lough Muck and Lough Fee which are salmon, sea trout and small brown trout lakes. You must have a licence to fish on these lakes. There is a coffee shop during the season 1.8km away, and the nearest village with pub restaurant and hotel is in Tullycross 5.3km away. The local shop and petrol station is in Tully village 6km away.The cottage may seem remote but you have every thing you need just a short drive away, amenities such as the Renvyle House Hotel, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park and the Ocean and Country Museum at Derryinver.
